📜 Story of Ganesha
Before going for a bath, Goddess Parvati created a boy from turmeric paste on her body and asked him to guard the door. When Lord Shiva came, the boy stopped him. In anger, Shiva cut off his head.
When Parvati was grief-stricken, Shiva brought an elephant's head and attached it, reviving the boy. He appointed him as the leader of Ganas (groups) and called him "Ganapati". He gave him the right to be worshipped before everyone else.
